Livery

I recently posted asking for advice on purchasing a first horse, Now its time for the next part...... Livery! I've given myself a window of a couple of years to gain experience and knowledge before I take the plunge so my question is this; what sort of price should I expect to pay for livery in the Derby area? I really don't mind the working livery aspect at a riding school or the DIY aspect either but I have no idea of what sort of prices I can expect for what standard.

No idea I'm afraid, it will vary from area to area and will also depend on what type of livery package you have and what's included in it.

You will have to shop around I think, look at the facilities as well though, don't just ask for prices.

TBH though if you are serious about learning about caring for a horse first and you are giving yourself a couple of years to do it, I wouldn't worry about livery charges just now because they will probably have changed by then anyway
