I've seen some for a good price, what do you reckon, value for money for a one horse owner? Suitable for a hairy beastie including feathers or not up to the job?

I have these and they certainly are up to the job

I have 2, a TB and a cob who isn't the hairiest but is hogged and trimmed all year round. Both horses have hunter clips through the winter. I have just finished my second winter with the Apollo and for me, they are brilliant. I would say they are not the quietest clippers on the market but they do a good job

Yeah, they would be up to the job. They normally retail around £220.00.
