Liveryman Arena Plus clippers - who has them?

I've had mine five years now, and do about 8 clips a year with them. OH is a mechanic, who strips them down and cleans them every year at the end of winter. Yet they always get so hot. Today it took me 2.5hrs to do a clip that should have taken an hour, as I had to keep waiting for them to cool.

Anyone else find them hot?

Anyone suggest any other brands if I was to change? I like that the Liveryman are robust.
