liveryman arena plus clippers

Tell me about it!! I have fiddled with tension, had them serviced, clean the air filter regularly.................. they still get hot!!
I'm saving for a set of Listers xx
 
Oh this is interesting! I have sent mine back to liveryman twice and they have both times come back as nothing wrong with them! They sent me a note to say read instructions again and tension correctly according to the manual! ( i had been). Started from scratch and double checked and it has not made any difference! They get so hot that i can't even hold them, but the blades are cool.

The manual says that the tension should be tightened to the point that you can just feel the screw starting to protrude. This doesn't work even with brand new blades!! They are now out of warranty and am going to buy a set of listers to. They were a waste of money!!!

mine have conked out tonight!!!!!! GRRRR one randomly half clipped horse. they were not clipping properly so tightened the tension and they conked out. Clipped 2 horses last year and HALF a horse tonight. Less than a year since i got them so are they still under warranty?
 
I started this thread a little while ago. I have the same problem the handle gets so hot I can't hold them. Iv also sent mine back twice to be told there's nothing wrong. I will not buy any liveryman clippers again. Lister now.
