My faithful showmasters have given up after 15 years and I am looking for a new set of trimmers to do faces etc.

In Charlie's yesterday and I saw these. Any good? The quieter the better really.

Or any recommendations?

I was going to get these for a horse that won't have his face clipped with big clippers I saw them for £89 I think, but then I saw the wahl pro ones that were £59 and they sounded quite similar in what they do and the replacement blades were a bit cheaper, so I went for the wahl and have used them for face and very fine feathers and they have been really good and they are very quiet with not to much vibration which is what I wanted so am pleased with them.

I have a set of Liveryman Harmony (cordless), not the "Classic" which OP is mentioning. They'd be OK I guess for doing trimming like faces etc., but not for a full clip.

Sorry probably not much help.

Disagree, I've had the Harmonys for 2 years and clipped 3 different horses with them several times and I find them well up to the job of a full clip. Yes it might take a bit longer than some of the heavier duty sets but there's a payoff in the ease of use and the quietness of them imo.

OP, sorry I can't be of any use for recommending clippers but I do think Liveryman are a decent brand and I'm happy with my Harmonys from them so the trimmers could be worth a shot.
