Liveryman Harmony 2 Clippers

Has anyone got a set of these? I want some clippers but they will only be used for clipping my horse 3 times a year. I looked on the derby house website and it says they are designed for heavy duty use so im presuming they would be ok. I cant afford to spend more than £150 on a set so id almost given up looking until I came across these.

So will they do the job?

they would probably be ok, but if i was you id invest a bit more and by some proper heavy duty ones - i think you might find it takes you ages to clip with these. ive just brought the liveryman arena plus clippers for £250 a shop near me and they are fab.

You can get some heavy duty clippers for just over £150 if you shop around. I brought some Heinigers for £175 including delivery.

I've just had these bought for me for my birthday and they seem OK so far - everyone has commented how quiet they are. I've spent this week trying to de-sensitise my horse to them as she's had to be sedated the last 2 years for the YO to clip and i was sick of the cost! They feel really easy to clip, especially having the battery pack. So far i've only actually clipped 3 smallish patches but they seem easy enough. Poor horse is progressively looking more like a jigsaw puzzle every day this week though!

My Avalons were £175, post free from a seller on Ebay.

Arrived the next day and are more than capable of a full clip.

they arent bad, i bought some but now looking for some heavier duty ones to clip more horses also with a battery pack as found it tricky with the cord. only used them once for a trace clip and i'm selling them now if you are interested pm me
