Has anyone used the Liveryman Harmony Clippers that come with the Battery Pack. My horse is really scared of the clippers but when he was freezemarked these clippers were used and he was not bothered at all. Thanks

I haven't used then with the batterey pack but used the mains instead.
Happily fully clipped my mare (She's 15.2 - very long so pleantly of hair to get rid of).
Fairly quiet too

I've got the Liveryman Harmony with battery pack and the coarser blades are fine on my 2 cobs, the 2nd one is a really hairy gipsy cob. I've never given a full clip but they do a trace clip just fine. The battery pack is absolutely brilliant...no wires or worries about mains electricity. It fuly charges in just 2 hours. The battery just clips to your belt or the waistband of your jeans/jods. My hairy gipsy cob had never been clipped before and she accepts them quite happily. Price is good too and I got them in a deal that included a storage stool and extra oil etc. A good buy all round for a 1 or 2 horse owner.

Thanks guys I have a cob x clydie with very hairy feet. I love his feathers but they're starting to anyoy him now with such wet and muddy conditions in the field. I think I'll give them a go! Thanks

They are great. I couldn't go anywhere near my mare without the vet giving her enough sedative to put a shire down (his own words). It took me 10 minutes with these clippers to be able to stand next to her and in another 10 mins I was clipping. Couldn't believe it! Def recommend. They are handy for the armpits (horses not people) and the face etc as well.
