Liz Jones Daily Mail mag article on The Brooke

Generally I can't stand this woman but for once she has actually written a worthwhile article on the Brooke and it's work in Africa and other poor areas here:

Please take a look (but not if anyone is watching cos I guarantee you will shed a tear or 2, I did!) It's inspired me to send a donation as I've seen first hand (in Egypt) how these animals are treated so badly due to ignorance and poverty

This is a great charity and a friend at work who is totally non horsey actually read her piece and sent a donation saying she would never have heard of them otherwise.

Oh boy did I cry! Made me think though - think this year's christmas pressies may be donations to the Brooke instead - after all most of us have got practically everything we need/want - those poor people in Ethiopia and their animals cannot even feed their children let alone their livestock - everyone should think of this when they moan about the price of everything in this country.

i cried too .i like liz jones having just read her book shes always loved horses and isnt afraid to laugh at herself. i think she actually is not very confident and comes across as being quite anxious and obsesive but is a real animal lover.

LOL - so much so that she lets her dog worry and kill sheep but thinks its ok because its their natural instinct!!

I just think she seems to make her living out of being a complete b*tch and washing her dirty laundry in public! Like I said though, at least she seems to have done something worthwhile with this piece and if it raises their profile and brings in some cash then I'll forgive her her previous misdemeanours !
