Loading help NW england

Looking for a trainer/behaviourist to come and help my horse with his loading issues. We’re based in Merseyside.

Had a google but I’m looking for reccomendations as my horse is nervous and I won’t just be letting anybody near him

A long time ago now but Richard Maxwell helped a horse to load (Preston area) - he was incredibly patient, identified the horse had claustrophobia .... the horse loaded every time from then on. Previously they had run out of ideas to get the horse to load

I'd look for an Intelligent Horsemanship Recommended Associate, it's the Monty Roberts/Kelly Marks brand of Natural Horsemanship.

I trained with them ages ago, would recommend.

Barry Thomas is a Monty Roberts trainer, he's in NW Wales IIRC. Absolutely fantastic and he does travel around.

I once ended up in a demo with Grant Bazin with my bad loader, he was very helpful but didn't fix things for me.
Just the other week Richard Maxwell was on our yard with someone who's horse wouldn't load at all! He's not cheap but I saw them practising what they'd learnt the following day and the horse was on and off the box like it was the most normal thing in the world. Although i haven't had any involvement myself I was seriously impresssed with the impact.
