Loading onto trailer - Advice please ..

Hello all,

I've been offered a lift for me and pone for a change of scenery by a friend in her friends trailer ( yep. Friend okay with it). Anyhow Boyo was last boxed by his previous owner who delivered him to me in Jan 2012 - he seemed to take that well.

Now before I take up the offer of a day out I'd like to satisfy myself that Boyo does travel okay - it will be short trip - 30 min max - if that means taking him back to square one sobeit. My question basically is How do I start at 'square one' - I'm going to ask a friend at the yard if I can borrow her box for practice .. Your help and wisdom greatly appreciated.

Don't really see what the problem is ....why do you need to go back to square one if he travels fine ?

i wouldnt bother making an issue of it. Just load him on the day, im sure he will be fine. Some of mine dont travel for a year or so but i still expect them to load and they do.

Thanks both. I've just never seen him loaded myself - his previous owner delivered him.

Suppose I'm being over cautious - he's 15 and only ever been loaded to move yards ..

Reckon I should stop worrying and just see how it goes ..
