Personally I don't agree with 'change in circumstances' as a reason in this circumstance. The horse is not costing the owner anything, so even if her circumstances change why does she have to sell? It's an old horse with a known injury & possible lameness issues waiting to happen. Not like she can get any kind of money for her to bail her out of a financial problem, so why does she suddenly have to sell? Sounds very suspicious to me.
