We had one exactly like that we found a loan home for at the weekend - hope we weren't one of the ones who let you down, but we had so many replies that however much we didn't want to mess anyone around it was inevitable we would cause disappointment.

From the volume of replies, I would just say that if you see an advert then put as much info as possible to sell yourself and your facilities into your reply, send photos if you can. Because we had hundreds of emails and phone calls and had to sift them ruthlessly. Be aware that getting a good loan horse is a competition. I'm sure you know that!

Look at the horses for sale, as you lose nothing by contacting sellers and asking if they would consider a loan, especially if you have your sales pitch ready to copy and paste. They can only say no. It's just that it's hard to sell in the current market, and by getting in there first with a suggestion they might want to loan their horse to you, you could be lucky!

Lippy, we were selling originally and it was very soul destroying, so we decided to loan the horse out instead. An email never wasted anyone's time, they can only say no! (or yes!)
