Dear all

Well months of searching to buy a horse I found a really lovely horse to loan for the next 12 months. She is perfect to ride and a sweet horse. I really don't think the saddle she came with fits. And is not comfortable for me to ride in. Is it up to me to pay out for the saddle check. The ower doesn't see anything wrong with it.

Feel bad for the horse she tries to nip me every time I put the saddle on her. It slips no matter how much I do the girth up. It just doesn't feel right. I do have my old saddle company saddle in the garage that I could have fitted to her as the trees can be changed.

Any ideas

Thanks

i think you've answered your own question by saying the owner thinks it's fine;) if you don't think it's right, and by the sounds of it horse doesn't seem convinced either, then the only way you'll get it sorted is to pay for it yourself:)
