You see so many horses up for sale/loan when their teenage owners go to uni! How easy do you think I would find it to get a loan horse to take to hartpury with me?
Ideally I would want a 15hh-16.2hh mare/gelding between 5 and 12 allrounder but doesnt have to have an amazing jump as pprefer dressage. Good hack and easy going as cant have difficult horse while doing a degree!

Sorry for all the questions

I imagine that if you are looking to loan it only for terms there will be loads of people who will jump at it.

yhh it would be ideal if they wanted the horse back out of term time! How would you suggest I go about advitising (if thats the right word to use!)

I was so tempted to allow my horse to go out on loan during term times as Iam finding it difficult to fit everything in around my young family. I thought I owed it to the horse to be worked more as she loves it!
However, when it came to literally saying yay or nay I could bare to part! So, instead I've given her a winter holiday in the field and Iam not feeling guilty!
But, if the right situation came up for me that would allow her to be used more, then I would jump at that chance.
Iam sure many horse owners are thinking about this idea, and probably liking it!
