Loan horse

Is this too much to ask, basically my best friend lost her 37yr old mare last year. She had owned her for 20yrs and you can imagine how heartbroken she was :-(

My friend has various health problems but she loves horses/riding and she has a very good support network and she is incredibly determined to keep horses in her life. She owns the horse I share but he is really too big for her to ride comfortably so she is looking out for another.

So she is wanting a 14.3hh to 15hh horse on loan, would be kept at her own field with two other horses and a pony (other horse/pony belong to a mutual friend) needs to be 100% to handle and ride (hacking) but forward going. He/she would have a home for life and be very much loved.

So where to find such a horse? Our farriers are keeping their ears open for her but any other suggestions xx

Look on WHW as well, they might have something. Fingers crossed she finds something soon

RSPCA usually have a good selection as well, if you google the horse rescues around your area they nearly all offer loan horses as well
