anyone read the article on the loan horses being sold on? the suffolk punch x (trojan) which was recovered was at livery on the yard i recently left. my friend who still has her pony there said she though it was strange that his freezemark didnt match what was on his passport! have only skimmed the article so dont know who was selling these horses on but think a woman has been arrested for it.

think i know someone else who had her loan horse sold on by this woman. haven't seen the article yet tho. her's was an ex racer who she thought was going to have a life of leisure in a great home only to find out the woman was trying to sell her on. thankfully she got her horse back.
some people really do sicken me and i'm glad she was caught out.

Unfortunately some people are sadly rather naive when loaning out horses and don't check out the yard the horse will be going to or the person loaning the horse. It is important to check the person loaning out the horse very carefully to the degree that one should do the same as any institution would and ask to see a copy of their passport, driving licence and utility bills to check that the address they claim to live at is in reality their real address.
