Loan horses

Is it possible to find a nice loan horse around 14.2 to do a bit of everything with?
Wanting to do all sorts of stuff, but willing to compromise for the right horse. Where's the best place to look?

We found 3 nice 14hh-14.2hh ponies on loan in our time on ponies but they all had their quirks (proper, deal-breaking if buying quirks for a lot of people, not just them being a little bit silly!). We found them through word of mouth (Pony Club, riding clubs, instructors recommending them to us, eavesdropping at competitions, etc), the free ads and places like Horsemart.

Horsequest, PC website and word of mouth are the best ways of finding a nice one.

Maybe try putting up "wanted" ads on websites describing exactly what you're after - I had a huge response when I was looking for a loan horse. Most responses were from equine adverts so that would be a good one to try, wasn't at all expensive to advertise either - maybe £2.99 ish? Horsemart is very popular, as is horsequest.
Could also try horsey facebook pages / preloved / local tack and feed shops. Good luck!
