Well, I still haven't got my tack/passport back but I thought I'd give you all an update on the pony as you have been so supportive.
So, according to the previous loanee the pony was "mad" and "uncontrollable" and "constantly reared". Apparently she "wouldn't load" and "reared when tacked up".
Well, she loaded like a dream (trotted up ramp) when we picked her up, and her new rider has had no problem leading her, tacking up etc. She reared once the first time she got on, but it was tiny and since then has been lovely. She is hacking her out and schooling her, and has said that she is a bit wobbly and unbalanced as she hasn't been ridden for a long time. Here are a few pics that she sent me at the weekend of her being ridden;
Tacking up
Starting off, a bit unbalanced
Getting better
A bit overbent
I am so pleased with her progress. A bit of background on the rider - she is a lovely girl who lives locally but can't afford her own pony so we are paying towards keep and she basically treats her like her own pony.
