So to cut a long story short, I have had a horse advertised for some time with little interest except from unsuitable people.
Now I have arranged for a lady who sounds ideal to come and have a look with a view to having him on loan and then buying in a few months at a a lot less than the asking price... However she very much has her heart set on him and is really nice.
Then this afternoon I get a call from someone who is perhaps not so ideal but is willing to put the time & money into lessons/schooling as needed. She wants to buy straight away again very much taken with him and basically wants to jump in before the other person.
So what do I do? Put off the buyer and see what happens with the loaner? Or should I say let the buyer view first and potentially let the loaner down horribly? Just wondering what others would do in a similar situation.
