As title really.
Am moving to Spain in a fortnight for work, and my post in the "horsey dream/goal" has got me wondering... hoping... and dreaming.... :p
It'd be a loan as I may return to England in June next year and although I have a job to return too, I'm also going to be doing a MSc and I fear struggling too much with that and livery fees which is why I've not got one here now.

So does anyone know if loaning common in Spain? And would a owner be willing to let me loan their horse for a year, potentially longer if I was to remain out there?

Its not something I've seen a lot of adverts for, but with the economy the way it is it would definitely be worth putting wanted notices up. Also trekking centres might be interested over the winter months. Where are you moving to and what would you want to do with the horse?

I'm moving to San Adrian in the Navarra region, close as possible to the town would be nice as I don't drive.
I'd really just want a happy hacker, I've done a few prelim dressage classes here, so anything along that level.
I've tried googling riding schools in the area but can't seem to find anything, as I'd really like to learn to jump properly as well.
