Just had a bit of a shock tbh, as somehow I have managed to get the grades to get into uni. Not going to go into details but I was not in the best state of mind during the exam period, so have spent this whole summer feeling completely convinced that I wouldn't've done well at all... hence not needing to find somewhere for Bonnie to live whilst I am away.

At the moment I'm in sole charge of caring for her and paying for her keep, but obviously once I move away here and my well-paid pub job and into London and massive debt I'm not really going to have much money spare to have her at grass livery or pay someone to look after her etc. So I suppose the only option I have is trying to find somebody willing to have her on loan.

She's had most of this year off following steroid injections to her hocks which made her horrifically lame for a couple of months. She's sound now, and we are hacking and I'm under the impression from her vet that she will be able to come back into full work eventually as long as she is brought back slowly and carefully. I'm ridiculously overprotective of this mare, and the thought of entrusting her to somebody else is killing me a bit. But seeing as my hands are basically tied here, my question is - how would I go about finding somebody wanting a horse like Bonnie on loan? I'm going to put some ads up locally, but is there a good website or something I could use?

Thank you x

Hello PhoebeandBonnie ,
I am not 100% sure, but I believe there is a website called project horses (or something like that. It MIGHT be worth having a little look.
Best of luck
Teg :)

newrider is good for loan ads, as is equineadverts.co.uk .. those are the places i've found my previous loans, good luck finding someone suitable for bonnie :) x
