I am in need of one quite quickly.

I dont want to pay silly money just becasue its a horsey product so am open to suggestions?

Im thining along the lines of a large plactic trunk of a smallish plactic storage cupboard i can lock.

Can anyone make any suggestions of there to get one?

Homebase had nothing suitable and B&Q had a nice one buts its a bit long i think so will have to measure the space i have.

any ideas where i can find something would be great

I have one that I got dead cheap from ebay- it is the type that you put gardening stuff in (greay with a green lid). Its great, is lockable, it came with shelves as well and I can get most of my collection of horse gear in it!

If you have a branch of Wickes near you, they have a couple of different garden tool boxes which might do the trick.

My daughter works for them part time, and we buy all sorts of things meant for the building trade, but eminently suitable for around the field / yard.

I got one from the DIY shop opp my house!! Cheap as it was a bit battered but its one of the black trunks with the yellow lids so normally quite pricey in named DIY shops. Go local!

I got a couple from homebase - lightweight,, waterproof and strong. they have a catch to attach a padlock. called a 'cushion box' if I remember rightly.
I use one to store rugs in and the other to store feed bags in - totally mouse proof!
