Thought i'd do a little Logie update!

He has been in the country about 6 weeks now (imported from america for those who dont know) and in that time, in just a handful of shows he has won 1 CC, 1 RCC, 1 Best in Show and 1 Reserve Best in Show And several BOB's, he's not far off his Show Certificate of Merit already! Not bad!! He's settled in really well, its like we've always had him

Is there any plan to breed him in the future, being as he's doing so well?

We've had well over 50 enquiries from people wanting to use him but at the moment we're concentrating on showing him. We will use him on our own girls and at some point in the future we may offer him at very limited stud for some selected bitches. The last thing we want to do is flood the gene pool just because people want to be able to charge crazy prices for pups just because they have an imported dad... Thats all most people want!

You know funnilly enough my horsey neighbour who shows Keeshonds said the same, someone had an imported Keeshond stud, and they created a massive gene pool, of what were apparently sub-standard dogs for the same reason. Apparently he wasn't even traditional standard but everyone loved him because he was imported?!

Well I'd love to see some of Logan's progeny doing the rounds in years to come, there's something really special about him, he's got spunk

Stella wants to know if she can have Logan for Christmas. Yes, her ovaries are but a distant memory, but she is a grade-A wrestler and is willing to share her many squeaky toys.

Is Stella willing to share food, chews and a comfy bed? Thats all Logie needs in life

And good news, at his show today (LKA) he got the Dog CC! Two down, one to go!
