LOL - greyhounds and Manuka honey

I've been giving the dogs Manuka honey for two days now - it is definitely working, as I realised last night that Amy didnt cough once all evening :):):) Can kennel cough really go so quickly?

This morning I was doing my "rushing around getting ready for work" bit and couldnt work out why the dogs were queuing expectantly for me :p I knew it wasnt their Antepsin tablets (I have to stuff them down them, they are not palatable :o) but suddenly realised they were all waiting for their teaspoon of honey each :D Did make me LOL :D:D

I can just see there little Greyhound faces, so hard to say no to.
My boy looks like that at me, even for medication, anything given to him by hand is a treat as far as he is concerned.
 
Oooo great news, thanks Slinky :) Fingers crossed they all keep healthy then, the other two havent coughed at all (touch wood!) so I might get away with a minor episode :)

Sammii819 - I did try and give them their Antepsin tablets when they were so interested, but they spat them out with disgusted expressions :D Not quite what they were waiting for I fear :p
 
Oh don't, that brings back memories of when Danny got into the curry and I was smearing honey around his lips/gums to keep his sugar levels up. He got to the point where he would activly wait for the stuff after he came in from the garden :o

Glad to hear your lot might have got away with a minor ep. though, kennel cough is a pain in the rear :/
