Wonderful stallion, I really have a thing for him.
He is usually used as a refiner stallion so I wouldn't use him for a light mare. He also adds elasticity but you need to be careful and use a mare with a strong hind leg.
Londonderry x Weltmeyer is a very popular cross but tends to produce difficult horses.
Wolkenderry's grand sire on his dam line is Londonderry and Weltmeyer on his sire side. He is an exceptionally stallion both in movement and temperament. I have a colt by Wolkenderry who is so elegant.
He is a top stallion with great ridability. We have had several mares by him including the dam of the Futurity Champion, Heaven and the dam of our Hanoverian licensed stallion Clapton. He did not have the biggest trot but wonderful type, balance, walk and canter Temperament is top.
Thank you very much for your comments. I originally had my heart set on Lauries Crusador but that has gone out of the window since my mare must go to the stud in Germany! Hence the stud's suggestion of Londonderry. I have a TB mare with 3 correct paces and good conformation who is sharp in the right way and very intelligent. My experience is mainly of TB's hence my preference for breeding something pure or almost TB. Any comments negative or positive greatly received!
If you like tbs - Lauries Crusador has a full tb son @ http://www.soederhof.de/ called United Nations. He's the first tb stallion to be graded at the Neumunster stallion grading and has Trakehner papers as his dam was graded into the Trakehner Stud book and Lauries has also Trakehner approval. Might be worth a look.
