Does anyone out there know of livery yards/ riding schools in the London area that would allow someone to ride out and help at weekends or in the evenings? I am trying to get back into the hose world after a break of 2 years (injury troubles!) and am finding it hard to afford lessons etc. Alternatively, anyone in the London area not able to ride their horse every night and want someone to help out?! I have ridden every type of horse imaginable from breaking in 3yr olds to international - any ideas/thoughts on riding in the city greatly appreciated! :-)

London Equestrian Centre have teenagers helping out at weekends and school holidays in return for a helpers group lesson at the end of the day.

Not sure if they would accept adults or not or if you would be happy helping out with teenagers if you are not one yourself!

There are a lot of places in East London/Epping/Harlow where you could maybe get a share in a horse - I see quite a few ads at Eastwick in Harlow wanting sharers.

Do you have transport? This opens up the places you could try.

Mount Mascal Stables is a 20 min drive from SE London. Willing for helpers at weekends and has fairly cheap lesson prices. Weekends are very busy though.
