seen as my stupid leg has got fatter since i bought my Long riding boots erm..... when i was 16. They do not fit - ive had them altered about 3 times and thought i need some new ones for Ponies Uk.

So i have size 7 feet, 15 1/2" calf, and short legs/ 15 1/2" (maybe 16")

i cant find any "reasonably priced boots"

I wont wear them much so need something that wont rape me of my well earned wonga

Any suggestions (must be quite plain to show in)

The only thing that I can find to fit my mutant legs (i'm a reasonably slim size 12 yet an XXW boot has no chance of ever doing up! Only size 5 mind...) are tredstep boots and gaiters. You can slide the gaiter into the boot so you cant really see that they arent boots. I event in them, but dont know if they will do you for P UK... worth a thought though as you can buy the gaiters in incraments of inches (leg and width) so get a perfect fit.

If you CAN find a perfect full boot - please let me know. I have spent years searching!

I have short fat legs and little feet!!!

Have been searching for years - pulling zips up with coat hangers, having three people pulling them off my legs, in tears as they just wont fit me!!

Found these at a show - went round to the mans house he measured me up and had them made!!

Honest they are expensive - but steel toe capped, waterproof, zip up the back with elastic both sides and honest they fit lovely and very comfy!!

Honest had them about a month and never looking back!!!

Well I have very stumpy legs and wide calves and found that Toggi Calgary boots fit me very well and only cost about £80 so you could try those :)

I cant get away with boots. I have a lovely competition pair of ariat boots and tredstep gaiters and they just look like boots.

i'm glad i'm not the only one with short fat stumpy legs!
i've got german shot putter calves, which made it difficult to buy boots but ive got some Toggi ones on order now ;)
best of luck in your search :)

Tinker88 you are the same as me.

Try on Mountainhorse sportive boots, you will be amazed oh and look on the internet for the best deals I got mine for £126

Saxon equileather long boots in short/wide maybe? They're about £50 and look decent enough. I'm 5ft7 clothes size 14, and these are the only cheap long boots I can find that fit me! Lol. When I was struggling with some regular calf boots the shop assistant suggested I try some by 'fuller fillies' - needless to say I flounced out in a huff and bought my boots elsewhere! Xx
