Long boots for men?

Thinking of buying the OH some long boots for his birthday (ATM he is riding in my old chaps held together with string, classy!)

They need to be black I think as I want to take him hunting with me next season, but not too smart as he will be wearing them down the yard and ruining them

Any suggestions? I was thinking mountain horse but not sure if they are smart enough for hunting or "male" enough for him?

MH are hard wearing and comfy, but don't look very good. Ariat are good.

Ooh the Ariat Bromont Tall looks good, expensive though and I wonder whether it will cope with being abused at the yard? Anyone got any?
