Hello all, I'm in need of some long riding boots. I'm short but have long lower legs which are very skinny and annoying. Boots that are long enough are always too wide, and boots that are slim enough are too short!

Can anyone recommend me some long boots?

Thanks

Sergio Grasso make boots to fit you, but theyre £345

Gaiters are lovely though, if you get a decent make like tredstep theyre about £75-£85 they come in lots of different sizes and are very good for thin long legs

Gaiters + short boots - Ariat perhaps? really nice and in all sizes
or
1. DeNiros are rather thin, but about £350
2. Cavallo have options for all shapes and sizes, price starts from about £200
3. Petrie
4. Mark Todd surprisingly narrow and cheapish
5. Konigs if you are wealthy
6. Ariat long boots start from £350, a bit difficult to get though - the cheaper version would be bromonts (about £200)

I have a similar problem, but have just bought some Treadstone long boots for £120, which are snug around my calf and need no breaking in.

have you looked at the shires norfolk boots-they are approx £100-very nice soft leather-they come in about 5 diff calf fittings-i always have a normal calf in most boots but i had to buy an extra large in these so i would imagine the narrow fittings would be very narrow!!

Well, just been on Tredsteps webby, and a nice smart pair of boots and gaiters come to about £200 which is about how much I paid for my long boots.

I have always ridden better and more secure in boots and half chaps, so think I will ebay my hardly used M/H long boots, and treat myself to some boots and gaiters!

Thanks guys!!

Hi, I am tall with long legs, however they are also quite skinny (with tiny ankles) - i've got a pair of the HKM synthetic leather long boots, they fit really well just a very small bit of room - but not baggy, they were about £50 i think...
if you cant get boots, treadstep do gaiters in lots of different lengths and widths to suit - i love their chaps too, they last forever!

I have long slim legs, and find that Ariats fit me very well. They come in at least three different heights and calf widths. The Ariat Challenge is about 200 quid, I think.

I have some Broginis - I was really wanting Sarm Hippique boots when I was looking for my boots - but just couldn't justify spending the money on the Sarm boots. THe broginis are a similar fit, but mine were about half the price - they are bleddy handsome!
