I'm looking at buying a grooming kit for my new loan pony (never loaned or had a horse before) and I was wondering what are some good quality kits out there that will last and also have everything I need. Preferably pink lol :)

I imagine I will have to buy shampoo, fly spray etc seperately.

I can't think of any names off the top of my head, but, steer away from children's kits.

My daughter want pink and so a bought her a tack box with every thing included, and it is rubbish, I let her use it and then have to do everything again with my proper stuff!!!!

Also included sudacreme, purple spray, gauze, sticky bandages, and antiseptic scrub.

Good luck and enjoy your pony/ horse and lots of pictures please

The things that I use the most in my kit are...

a shedding blade (wonderful for moulting horses and good at getting dry mud of my horse's body, I don't know why I didn't get one sooner)

rubber/jelly curry comb (again I use this alot as this is softer rubber than a normal curry and it's good on legs)

plastic curry comb (I use this alot too, my horses get very muddy! ;) )

dandy brush (I like the bog-standard wooden backed one)

body brush (basic type again but has lasted for years and fab on a mud free coat)

I also have a sweat scraper and a few hoof picks of different types. :)

Look on ebay, there are lots of pink grooming kits on there. :D
