I have had a pair of ariat windermeres for the last winter which I lived in for work, my own horses and uni including wearing for hacking. They have been amazingly warm and long lasting but I have found the leather to not be very durable and has split fairly quickly meaning they let water in :(
I can't really afford to pay £140 every year so can anyone recommend something similar which is longer lasting?

I don't like the muck boots, mum has a pair and they feel so heavy and clumpy and my socks fall down in them.
I have ordinary muck boots from derby house which are warm and durable but I scuff like crazy in them as they seem to get loads bigger as they are worn and the inside felt is squished down.

Any suggestions?

I am on my second pair of Toggi Canyon boots. I do everything thing in mine including riding and walking dogs and the last pair lasted three years so well impressed.
Only down side is i do need to wear a thicker pair of socks if very cold but i get cold feet in most things :D
