very sadly it looks like my regali ricchis are coming to the end of their life-they are in perfect condition apart from the zips-already had one replaced and now the other one is starting to go.
Think its due to them being a bit baggy now especially round the ankle so my heel moves against the zip.Im going to take them in and see if anything can be done-ie narrow them a bit even if i can have them for everyday.

Anyway im looking for recomendations..i like the high cut tops although dont necessarily have to have a little badge/button type thing at the top and i like them to be soft but still offer a little protection, they will be mainly used for eventing so cant have stiff dressage boots!! Will have to come in a wide range of sizes and be slim around the ankle.

any recommendations will be great:)

I got some Equitector boots a year or so ago - web site allows you to order the exact height & width you need. Really like them & find them comfortable to ride in.

I was going to recommend regali ricchis as mine are about 4 years old and still as new. If you want heel/ankle narrowed a GOOD cobbler should be able to do that and still have them look perfect as they only need to cut back the leather, but they will need to be careful with measurements.

thanks...mine are in good condition.they really are...they have never really softened that much-maybe as they are not tight enough-im defnartly going to take them ina dn see what they can do

They look lovely on and still only need a wipe to look new, but everytime i ride they infuriate me...as the more i squeeze the slip down and get baggier round the ankle-thing is the zip they have replaces is wider as they havent stitched it back as far as the original.....

Can you reccomend where I can see these on th enet please?

Cavallo Winner Plus (with the zips) - brilliant - very stiff for the first few ridesbut softening up nicely now, narrow ankle and beautiful quality. I bought them from On the hoof and she was so helpful - met with me to take my measurements, brought different boots for me to look at etc.

Highly recommend!

heres a few of the best piccys i could find, i got them from frogpool but think they have actually stopped making them and now sarm hippique make them practically the same i think mine cost around the £200 mark.
