Long leather boots

I am looking for a pair of long leather boots (possible xmas pressie). I have my good ones (ie made to measure) but want a pair for cross country and for not so posh outings.

Any reccommendations?

Have to say not that keen on the mountain horse, they just look a bit bulky to me (personal opinion), unless they have slimmed down the newer models
