Hello
First, a thank you to all for their advice about my terrier's eye (or lack of 1), he has made a full recovery and is fine with 1 eye.

I've been walking him on a lead and as he's getting well again his energy levels are increasing. My other dog is happy with lead walks as is getting old. Little dog, however, needs miles and miles!

He always went off the lead, but since his incident I am reluctant to let him off again. Basically he ran off (having been reliable off lead for months) and came back much later with terrible injuries. I can just lead walk, but was considering using a long line or flexi - I've just read the post about flexis and have to admit not being keen (def wouldn't use by road) and have seen burns on a child's legs from one - also hate to see them on bridle paths.

Anyone get on OK with flexis? Any thoughts?

As per my comments in the flexi lead thread really. I like mine but made sure I got one that doesn't have a join, its one solid piece of tape and the tape is stitched on to the clip so hopefully won't break like my last one with a join. I keep her on a short lead whilst walking on the pavements and I have adopted a sort of owl impression on the cycle path keeping my eyes open for bikes
