Hi
I am going to start long reining Oscar (my 2yo) but am first going to practice on some of the more established horses for a while, so me and him aren't learning together!!! :)

Any tips or advice about anything espicailly where to put my hands!! Would be much appreciated!!

Thanks

:D

You're more than welcome. I love long reining my Section D, we alternate trotting and walking - beats jogging any day, but if you're long reining on the roads wear shoes with a grip. Long reined the other week in leather soled riding boots, apart from the grief my aged knee joints gave me after all the trotting I ended up sliding down the road behind him when we had a disagreement about whether it was walk or trot time. The good news is I think I may have invented a new sport:D
