A very wet good afternoon to you all.My question is that do you think that a Passoa could be used for when long reining?.I use it when lunging but both i and my lad enjoy long reining and wondered if it would work in the same way as on the lunge??.Any thoughts would be great!.Thanks.

I would imagine there Should be no problem as long as you only clip the long reins to the bit, as I think if you started putting the long reins through roller rings, thing's might get a little tangled!
I would say though to keep the horse going quite forward as you do want the horse to have to many things holding it back on it's head as rearing and napping can start.

I tried this when my horse went through a stage of being a monkey to lunge. I found it didn't work very well as the long reins interfered with the action of the pessoa and meant he didn't stretch down as much as usual. It wasn't terrible, just not as effective as usual.
