When Alee went away for some ground work schooling she started to be long reined.
This is something I have never done before so the poor girl has had to put up with me practicing on her for the last few months, not a great combination!!!
We have struggled and have only recently managed to turn at the top end of the school without assistance from a handler at her head.
It was worming day today so she needs to be in for 24hours so decided to long rein her up a near by bridle way with OH walking.
She was an absolute star

and was lovely and forward going with a really good contact on the reins. She marched along like she had done it loads of times before.
I'm planning on taking her out again next week. If I keep doing this the pounds should really drop off!!
