hello everyone.
i was wondering, i've been looking for some long riding boots for ages because i'm sick of my old joddy boots. BUT i've got really short and wide calves and can't seem to find any nice boots!
can anybody help me or suggest some brand names that cater for stumpy legs?
I'm on a budget so under £100 would be brilliant ;)
thank you all and lots of chocolate ice cream with sauce on to match the weather :D

I think the general consensus is go for jodhpur boots and gaiters if you're on a budget. I have the same problem!

Hi Jodie

I had exactly the same problem myself and ended up with some Toggi Calgary boots in a wide fitting. They are fantastic. Really comfortable and hardwearing. They fit my short, fat legs perfectly too and only cost me £80.

Hope this helps :)

thanks for the suggestions and i'll look for some toggi's. its such a pain having short fat legs and people moan about having long legs! bahh!

I know they're a little out of your range but try the equitector website. The boots are great and ssoooooo comfortable! they even do made to order if necessary, but even my long fat legs and weird feet didn't need special boots

Second the Equitector long boots. They do an amazing range or widths, heights styles.I have big calves and wear the Eqiutectors for showing and even the judges have commented on how smart the boots are.

I highly recommed treadstone boots.

They do them up to a +5!!!

I love my treadstone boots, i never thought id get a pair wide enough!
