Having looked at Highland Unbridled’s website, I would never trust them to guide me anywhere in remote hills.No, but Highlands Unbridled do this route from their base in Ballogie, Aberdeenshire. Doable, but I wouldnt ride anything remotely skinny legged over that terrain
HU have also had a complete turnaround since their move from the Highlands
Qualified Mountain guides wouldn’t advertise a set route on a set date because what is sensible is highly weather dependant - and some of these routes are completely impassable in a spate, (which is never predictable weeks in advance).
I know the droving roads & from my mountain bike & (skis) and from local lore.
People are taken off the hills (regularly) in a body bag after they get caught out by the weather turning. It is just so stupid.
