I rescued a Percheron Throubred cross 1.5 years ago. He has an extremely long, roach back. He loves to go out light riding, he meets us at the gate and is on a large acreage. He regularly recieves body work, massage, had magnawa and chiro. However, he has become extremely sore recently and had difficulty getting up one day. Since has been stiff until walked out. Anyone have experience tips or tricks. He wears a magnetic blanket too.

It sounds more like a problem with his limbs than his back. Long roach backs are weak but that doesnt always equal issues. At this point you need a vet involved and its not really something a forum can diagnose.
