Long shot - vegan long 'leather' boots...

Does anyone know where I could buy or get made some long non-leather riding boots suitable for competition? Not the rubber 'wellie' type - proper comp boots or short boots + chaps. I have searched high & low. V tempted to get some Konigs & have done with it, but I really wouldn't be happy with myself.

This post isn't intended to start a debate about the rights / wrongs / tricky compromises of veganism...I just want some new boots!!!

try saxons equi-leather boots £40 made like proper boots, look like leather have higher cut little like dressage, come with spur rests. I have a pair no-one belives their not leather and they have zip up the back.

Wow those saxons boots look totally fab - how did you get on with the sizes? Ie do they come up big or small?

And only £40 compared with Konigs at £550...

I think they are normal size, they have various sizes and fits even for fat calves like me! - the only down side is that they don't do 1/2 sizes. I remember they list the sizes in cm so you can measure and work out your size.

Ride away do them as do another load of online stores one big store near me also sells them (throstle nest) so you might have a stockist near you too , I've competed and shown in them with no issues.

A friend of mine has just bought some Saxon Equi-leather boots. I think they were £38.99. I found it hard to believe that they are not real by looking at them. You can tell if you have a feel but they are amazingly realistic and so cheap. I'm tempted to get some to save my leather ones for best
