Long Yard Boots?

Hi guys

Can any of you recommend any good boots for doing yard work in?

I'm looking for long boots:
that are warm
waterproof
hard wearing
withstand lots of mud
that i can ride in if i need to

I have my hunters but they aren't warm enough for all day on the yard in winter.
I have my muck boots but they have some holes/splits in them and i've only had them a year so i am unsure about spending so much money on getting another pair if they are only going to last a year. At over £75 a pair i would like them to last a few years.

I am in the same dilema. I have decided on the Mark Todd cook tall winter boot as the zip starts quite high up so shouldnt get caked in mud. Also they are really warm and comfortable. Also you can ride in them. They are about £60

I bought these and they have been great.
Only thing i can't say is how they will last as only had them a couple of months but so far so good.

Ariat Grasmeres! I can vouch for mine as took advantage of the foot deep "lake" that has appeared in my field by leading my two year old through and I my legs and feet stayed bone dry. Only drawback is that the are too hot once the weather warms up!

Have just posted on another thread about the Grasmeres.

They are so comfortable to wear for long periods, fully waterproof and fine to ride in.

I suffer badly with cold feet in the winter and these are the only boots I've found that really keep me warm.

It's worth shopping arond for them as prices can vary a lot. They are often very competitive on e-bay and I got mine from TDS Saddlery on-line for about £80 less than the RRP.

I work in long Muck boots and ride in them too. Very warm sometimes too warm.

I love my Dubarrys they do get worn for everything!! Also the mark todd cook boots!! Not a fan of any of the muck boots in general, would say i thought they were as tough as they should be.
