Last July I popped along to a gypsy cob sale and picked me up a couple of scrappy little cobs :D I thought they would come good and I think they have. They were wild as you like, not halter broken, I think they had been gelded through a cattle crush at some point and they were pretty much all round stressed out from being torn away from their herd and thrush into the sale environment. I going to concentrate on Morgan, my little (or now not so little!) black and white chap for now. The big bay monkey will be the subject of his own thread soon enough!

This is a couple of days after I got them back home, in the barn being halter broken.

Then out in the yard, learning to lead...please excuse the mahoosive stable stain, we weren't quite ready for the hosepipe at this point! :p

Since then he has just come on in leaps and bounds. He is one of the sweetest kindest, most willing ponies I have come across and I love him to bits! This is him now. Again, excuse the mucky winter cob look!

And he loves standing in the river!

I wanted to share these because I hadn't looked at the old pictures of him for ages and I was surprised by how much he had come on. Can't beat a bit of grass, wormer and tlc, eh?! :D
