We bought this chap as a 3 year old who had been picked up and put down but had not had a lot of educating. He was very headshy and still doesnt like being tacked up very much but we are really getting there now and the improvement is amazing! He is the most gentle soul and we just adore him. Sorry there is no real reason to this post but I am so proud of this horse and what we have done with him so far :)
(I know that his carriage etc is not perfect but this is only his second time out other than for lessons and there was an awful lot going on)

he is a mongrel ;)
he is the queen's drum horse Galway Warrior crossed with a trotter. Not a combo I would initially have thought would work but hey...he certainly has the size and looks of his daddy but the fiz and ability to lose weight like it is going out of fashion of the tb! (if only I had some tb in me that would allow me to do that too!!)

He looks wonderful. I would never have guessed that cross but now that you've said it I can really see both parent breeds in there. Who would have thought that it would produce such an impressive looking boy?
