Ok guys - as usual here's a recap:

I left my mare in the hands of the YO for 2 weeks whilst I went away to Cornwall. When I came back she looked emaciated. I moved her to a new yard the next day.

2 weeks BEFORE I went away:

Saturday 28 August 2010 - when I first saw her after 2 weeks:

1 week later (at new yard):

3 weeks later (today):

Poor girl! she looks fab again now! I look after a few people's horses when they go away sometimes for up to 4-6weeks and treat them as if they're my own, I'd be mortified if I thought they'd lost condition under my care!

I hope you put a bomb under the waste of air that got her into that state in the first place. People like that shouldn't have anything to do with animals.

I strange how quickly she lost the weight, yet how slowly it takes to get it back on. I saw your previous pst and her coat looks starey after you come back but looks better now. Glad you have found a nice yard and that your horse is feeling and looking better.
