Pictures of my boy when he was a baby. I'm thrilled but can't believe it's the same horse, I had no idea they could change so much. I got her address from his passport and when I wrote to her earlier this year this offered to scan and send them but it's taken a while and I didn't like to hassle her. Anyway, they're here now. Yippee!!

Then....

You must be delighted.

Wasn't she a sexy little girl?

I think it is wonderful being in touch with breeders. I think you really know what you have got when you have all the history.

He was breed in Germany and stayed with his breeder until he was 3. Then she sold him as a stallion to a German dealer. I bought him a year later from a different dealer in the Czech Republic as a 5 year old gelding, so I'm still missing a year of history which I doubt I'll ever find anything about. Still it's really nice to have these photos.

I would love to breed my own horse, it must be great knowing your horse right from the start + foals are so adorable.
