Look what's circulating fb.... needs reporting!

its only getting any air time because people are busy being so outraged and commenting on it and thats exactly what the fools that created it are hoping for. They love it.

its more than likely come to the attention of the trolls that there's a large horse community online that are vocal about horse cruelty since the the TicTok video doing the rounds this week took off and who look like might be a prime fun target to wind up.

If everyone was sensible and just ignored it it would die a death very quickly.
 
Actually there is a picture threat on it, worthy of reporting - a sign stuck in a dead horse saying something like: if you report this will happen to you .....

I agree with this....it is very different to the Tic ToK issue though. That was a real and obvious case of videoed unnecessary cruelty that mass protest could have an impact on. And I bet it wasn't taken and posted hoping to cause outrage to horse owners world wide...

The FB page that OP has linked to,is deliberately posting images that will cause emotions to run high and have all the millions of horse lovers tearing their hair out with outrage and indignation.

It would be better to ignore as IMO we are all (myself included) feeding the ego of these sick individuals by even taking the time to discuss the page.

no, no - what i meant was that the furore and publicity over the TT video and the fb pages created to condemn it might simply have brought to the attention of a wider audience (namely the cyber trolls) that a large horse community exists online who would make a ripe target to wind up with a page entitled 'i hate horses'

im not drawing any inference that there exists any similarity between the actual content ..

..or it could simply just be a timely coincidence.. who knows how these idiots think?
 
Being talked about on a horse forum is probably the highlight of their year, honestly I don't think anyone is going to come and harm your horse, they're just winding you up! Report it if you want but please don't send messages or rise to it!

P.s. I think some of the pictures/memes are quite funny. Am I a horse hating troll too?

No, this is the picture. It says there will be more dead horses. There will, whether your report the site or not, so that's not illegal, sorry. You guys are feeding the troll getting so aerated about this. It's just what he wanted.

The implication of the words, I took as meaning, YOUR horse will be the next dead one, which is why I reported it. But I do agree, best not to comment on the Fb site and feed the troll

But it is sick. Sick weirdos should not be allowed to use a public forum like Facebook.
 
Reported ! ! No need for people to create pages like this, it doesn't achieve anything apart from hate, no matter what your personal opinions are it needs closing, please everyone report this page.

Why do I have to? You're not my keeper.

But to humour you. This wouldn't be acceptable in any legitimate newspaper or magazine. It's one step away from actually doing harm to an animal, it encourages people to think it is OK to revel in the pain and suffering of animals in this case horses. It's not alright to incite hatred of human beings and in fact it is a crime the same should apply to other living creatures.

If you do not think it is "sick" for a better word - how would you describe it?

Ok, but how would you suggest that gets policed ?

..and whose definition of 'sick' would you use since everybody would have a different tolerance in what is/isnt acceptable to them?

Although i understand the feelings behind your sentiment im afraid you'd find banning sections of people from the internet/forums as a whole would be unworkable.
i do think however facebook on occasion seem reluctant to take a stronger stance than they could on obviously offensive/trolling pages which i dont altogther understand.

I reported that photo. Fb replied saying it doesn't contravene their rules.

I see idiotic people are continuing to go and engage with the trolls by arguing on the page. :rolleyes: I wonder if anyone on this thread's been that daft. :p

i actually think people must enjoy being outraged and having a good slanging match because you surely dont have to be a genius to see that by posting on it you're giving the page the oxygen it needs to live and eventually grow bigger..i mean DO you!?

THESE people are trolls. Not the type that get labelled here, for asking silly questions about their horses.

Just report and ignore. I've had to deal with people like this and if you even say one word to them, it will fuel them. I've had to removed 100+ pictures of dead people and animals and it's not fun. I hope FB removes them, but they will just make another.
One particular troll I had to deal with stalked me on every site I used (thankfully I wasn't active on here at the time, or they would have hit here too) and if I replied or deleted it, something would be put in it's place, I ignored him long enough and it stopped.

I figured out I actually knew the person on facebook. He seemed normal, but I soon found out he was Religiously unstable and had very backwards views on the world. Safe to say I blocked him on facebook and everywhere else.
 
Reported it and im going to get all the horsey pages on facebook to report it.... look at how we all managed to pull together on the video of the backing,whipping, bucking horse idiots. im sure we can get this page closed down!!!

Well for a start it gets policed by people reporting it doesn't it? They must police it as do HHO police their own forum.

FYI I haven't commented on the page just simply reported it directly to Facebook - as is my right as I find it offensive. If you don't want to and think it's OK that is up to you.

A couple of years ago i was actively involved in groups campaigning to close down Fb groups and pages much worse than this one. For example "Kill a Jew a Day" was one, "I Hate Muslims" another and EDL groups organising violent protests in various UK towns. They had very real and serious calls to racial violence on them.

We blanket reported the groups, but they stayed up for months, and the few which were removed reappeared a few days later.

In the end I gave up and decided Fb just doesn't care.

I sincerely hope Fb has improved since then and will be pleased if that group is removed.

Maybe i went ott abit but im pretty sure that they will so sweet f...all. look at them i hate baby pages they are terrible and they went on the news. at least you tried to help by trying to make things right but it worth a try anyway. :)
