okay is this okay to charge this amount, in between work i have been looking after someones horse and house for the last 2 months as they have been to Oz, very nice too!! i said £10 per day to pull curtains check the house, muck out 1 horse and put out, feed etc. Plus extra for riding, since i consider myself to be a pretty competent rider and do some teaching i reckon 20 for schooling each time and 15 for hacking what do you guys think please.

Wouldn't it have been better to establish the fee structure in advance !?

You're basically providing Full Livery for the horse, plus doing a check on the house. Look at how much Full Livery would cost in your area, and then add a couple of pounds a day for pulling the curtains

Hope they don't get too much of a surprise when they return

Okay, well it sounds like you're charging them £70 per week for the livery and pulling the curtains then. I pay an extra £10 per day if my livery yard exercises for me regardless of whether they hack out or school.
