I have been thinking about what's going to happen with Zoom when I go to uni so have started to put the feelers out for a loan home.

I have been looking through wanted on loan adverts and I'm quite suprised by what people want!!

I mean, Zoom is no saint - she can be very fizzy and she is unlikely to set the dressage world alight :D, however she is sweet, safe and super-fun!

However, people seem to only want bombproof super safe allrounders that will do everything at riding club level or above.......or they want super safe ploddy hacks that will carry a complete novice.

Also alot seem to say 'permanent loan or free to good home' Do people actually loan these saintly horses out??! Why do they not just buy one if they want it for life? Granted about 50% of the adverts are from kids but still.......

Maybe thats where your going wrong, your viewing wanted adds, people can want a lot of things, doesnt mean there going to get it :D

I'm sure you'll find alot of people that will be interested in her, not everyone wants a rocking horse you know or a rosette machine.

I'd do a loan add neare the time (well in good time) but I doubt you'll struggle. :)

I didn't even look at wanted ads with my mare. As you say, most are done by 12 year olds who probably haven't even asked their parents, the other half are numpties, and the rest want saints.

However, I wasn't short of interest when I advertised my mare for loan.

Hopefully eeeeek! I find it so amusing that everyone wants something for nothing!

Having said that, I got two somethings for nothing......but I wasn't expecting to go out and do BSJA :D
