So let me get this straight - you want a 2-3 year old pony that is broken to ride for your LITTLE sister? And it has to be cheaper than meat money?

In all seriousness though OP read your question back and maybe think about having a rephrase, it doesn't sound good wanting to ride a 2 yr old....

yeh i know i havent wrote it well but its best i can do and im looking to get one for my little sister as she is wanting her own pony it doesnt have to broken to ride

No. I know of no such pony. I suggest that you spend the money on getting your little sister some riding lessons, and perhaps arrange for her to go to pony camp? Or perhaps you could just buy her a really good quality hard hat and body protector. Then she could share your cob - once he has been gelded, and turned away for a couple of years with other horses his age to mature...

It is morally reprehensible to even consider riding a two year old pony. Three is just old enough to back, but not to ride consistently. And putting a child on such a young animal is frankly a trip to casualty waiting to happen:mad:

I sincerely hope this is a weekend wind-up post!

You said at the top of the page that you want it by the end of the week. Don't you think you should concentrate your efforts on your colt which lives in it's stable and bites before you take on any more?

Sorry OP if you're genuine but seriously, this smacks of the trip trap of little troll feet on a jaunt out from under a bridge!

If you're genuine get your sister some lessons on a safe riding school horse and forget about buying any animal as a birthday present!

your younger sister wants her own pony so you want to buy her a 2-3 yr old 12-13hh? i take it by the size of the pony your sis is quite young??? are you trying to kill her or what? seriously, what does your mum say?????

I hope this is a wind up. But sadly it might not be. I echo what others have said, get your sister riding lessons if she wants to be involved with horses for now. Even if you aren't concerned about the welfare of the poor pony you may purchase, at least consider the danger of buying a very young pony for a child who clearly doesn't have any experienced help.

Here's me getting back to you. Educate yourself first -instruction from an experienced horseman, books, internet etc - before you buy and ruin another pony and possibly be responsible for injuries sustained by your sister on said pony.

If this post is true,I personally would rather go the other way and look for a golden oldie. One thats been there and done it sooo many horses in rescue centres that need a home BUT on the other hand i have always been told babies dont go with babies(young ponies/horses)as its a disaster waiting to happen,as your sister sounds young especially one thats not been very well handled.OP i would seriously consider your choice carefully and sometimes good things are worth waiting for and i hope its not a one minute wonder as a birthday present.Sorry if it sounds rude but personally sounds like trouble.....
